Can anybody answer this question?
I've got a brava 1.6, My problem is, a few weeks ago i had a burning smell when i had the heating on, at first i thought it might have been leaves as it was a sort of a musty burning smell, then the smell went, brilliant i thought but now when i turn the fan knob, the only air i get out is from postition 4.
Could the burning have been a belt? If it is where does it sit? and how hard is it to replace? Can someone please help?

Chris.

Fan speed position 4? Perhaps it was motor contact/switch distroying its self. Electrical burnouts have a distinct smell to them.

Sound Like The Fan Resistor Has Burnt Out, It Is Situated Next To The Heater Fan Motor In The Passenger Foot Well, It Is Green And Has A Plug On It With Four Wires!
