Technical headgasket-car misfiring

Hi,3 months ago i noticed a slight misfire from the engine just for a second or two.then it would be fine,but slowly over the last 3 months its got worse.
Now it constantly misfires and i have had to park the car up.
I have changed all the electrical items,so i am now thinking maybe the headgasket has blown.It was changed 40,000 miles ago,7 years ago.
The oil seems to be clear when i dip it,iand i had to top up the coolant.
there is no mayo on the oil cap.
is it a big job to change the gasket.
any help appreciated.

But you have black soot on all 4 plugs.


You seem to have a fuel/air problem that is nothing to do with the head gasket.

Spark generation is patchy on poorly maintained puntos.

But if you have swapped the driver board in the ECU we can rule that out..
