Im replacing the head gasket on my 60 SX.

Ive got the head off and it looks like the gasket was well on its way out. See pic.

When i took the head off there are two small tubes, top right and bottom left. The top right one just fell off. What is it and how do i replace it?

Before i took the head off i maked the timing belt in two places...1st on the cam gear and the belt, and the second on the crank gear and block. In hind sight as im replacing the belt i guess i should have marked the cam gear and head rather than belt. Will this be an issue?

Lastly, i need to remove the cam to have the head resurfaced and checked...how do i do this and how do i ensure i put it back right?

The tubes are an interference fit, so just pop it back in on reassembly. As long as it goes in straight, no problem.

To get the cam timing right after assembly you line up the mark on the bottom pulley and do the same with the cam pulley. Then fit the belt.
