Get some quotes, it varies. Budget for £250 - £400 depending on what they find and do, plus the engine type.

Remember that there is quite a bit of stuff that should be changed when a HG is done, water pump, cam-belt & tensioners, new oil & filter, coolant plus anything that breaks getting it off...

If you get change thats a bonus!
