Technical Head Bolt Tool?

Hi guys, I'm taking off my engine head at the moment, and all was going well until I came to one bolt. It's the bolt that is located between the centre of the head and the oil feed that enables the cam to be lubricated. Has anyone had this same problem, or is it just me using an impact bit that is too fat for the hole??

Which engine?

If you're using 1/2" square drive sockets you might run into issues, but otherwise...............

Never had an issue on a FIRE. Maybe an impact socket is too fat.

impact would be too fat, 1/2" will just get down there depending but 3/8" drive will be fine

good quality 3/8th drive, make sure you use hex sockets and not the 12point ones

Thanks guys, it's okay, it was the centre cam guide that was in the way, once I took that off it fitted fine. Thanks anyway.
