Is there actually a 'Haynes Owners workshop manual' that covers w reg (00) puntos?

I've looked everywhere for one and keep finding the 'service and repair' manuals.

And for removing the gearbox i'm convinced this isn't the one i need.

The ' Fiat Punto Aug 2003 to 2007 (03 to 07 reg) Petrol' is an owners workshop manual.

But the 'Fiat Punto Petrol (Oct 99 - July 03) V-03 reg.' is a service and repair manual. I could swear there used to be a workshop manual for this...

That is the manual that you need they just changed the titles from workshop to service and repair thats all. I got one to do head gasket bud. it is def the right one

I own a 2008 Classic Punto 1,@ 8V, and I don't seem to find anywhere an workshop/service manual for it. Do you happen to know if there is one?

yes, I accessed the link and the latest version is the 'Fiat Punto Aug 2003 to 2007 (03 to 07 reg) Petrol' - no word on newer versions..

if you mean the grande punto(as we know it here) then it looks like haynes dont have one yet
thoughi would expect it to be due given how long the GP has been out
no companies in Romania do a similar manual?

I meant the MK2b, as you call it (we call it MK3). It was made in 2008 and was sold as a Punto Classic (probably the last of its kind).

Unfortunately no Romanian company makes similar manuals, and frankly I have never heard of another company besides Haynes - I did stumbled upon a few versions in Russian, Bulgarian or Turkish, but they are merely translations of the Haynes' (the layout and pictures give them away ). It must be some franchise involved..

So basically, Haynes rulz! :slayer:

I guess I'll just keep resorting to professionals, rather than oil my hands
