General Handbrake for rear disc conversion

Hi for those of you that have done the rear disc conversion on a Cinq what handbrake cable have you used and how have you connected it?
I have read both guides on here and can’t seem to get mine to fit. It seems too short.
Any advice or links would be appreciated thanks.

Use the standard cable and move the front pivot back about 3 inches with perforated bar.
