General Handbrake and handbrake gaiter

how do u remove the original handbrake and gaiter off a punto mk1 as i have bought a ripspeed one but just need to know how to get the original one off???

please help i wont to do it on saturday

dead easy, the gaitor ring just prises off, make sure you don't damage the plastic trim otherwise it will look gash.

the handbrake, lever it from the rear or the front, i forget, but you'll soon figure it.
handbrake one comes off with a button stud easily,.

gearlever gaitor you probably need to remove the gearknob to get it on, and that requires hacksawing off, OR some nifty spanner work (spanner underneath, hit UPWARDS with a rubber/lump hammer

If you don't want it again....hacksaw the bugger off i guess. There is very little that can't be removed with a hacksaw
