Bah, I'm happy with it
I've seen a set of 100hp seats online for 170 pounds delivered which I'll try and knock down. Just need to find a bumper and support bar now. Wife is at risk of being made redundant in 2 or 3 months so i'll make it nicer inside and get the bumper sorted and if her job is fine then I'll trade it in against something nice and use the cash to fund the purchase
Doesn't it need a replacement rear panel also?

That's what the guy I got a quote from originally said, but upon looking at it there's a small panel under the boot aperture which is what's pushed in, should easily push back out. Obviously if it were being repaired by insurance I'd expect that panel to be cut out, but tbh this is probably every bit as good as that.
Yeah that should be ok to push out as long as floor hasn't shifted (which it hasn't iirc from your previous pics). Try and get them to put it as a CAT D write off. Means you won't need to muck about with a VIC then

Have to say I was almost tempted to buy it on ebay more or less straight away, but then I realised that I'd still need another car and prefer to keep my cash spare right now
