Guy Croft is almost a "legend" when it comes to tuning the Lancia/Fiat twin cam engines, I can't think of many people who would know more. He has written a book on it called funnily enough "Tuning Fiat/Lancia Twin Cams" it was also him who did all the engine work on the awsome Lada that was done up on Top Gear a series or too back cos even Lotus knew that when it came to that engine he was the "man".

If only it were true & it had a beautifully built French gearbox (U know how much I love my French cars Liam

Guy's been around for years and years and really is a legend in Fiat/Lancia circles. During that time he's done just about everything there is to do with them, and he's also learned to move with the times more than many others. One of the best things from my experience is he is a genuinely nice, ordinary bloke, too, and very willing to help with advice.

The bloke is a legend and is a really nice bloke as well and i know him personally because he built and installed a 2000cc (ithink) lump for my uncles 124 spider and he comes to the family bbq's occasionally. Right after he had installed the engine, on the first test drive he took my uncle out and procceded to get to about 5000 revs before he changed gears all the way up to forth when the engine went bang and the spider stoped going.
Legend yes, gentle no.
