Technical Gushing Seicento 1108 engine

Hi,

My sons just been given an early Seicento with 1108 engine as the owner had given up on it.

They had the headgasket done by a 'family friend' and they were sick of it as it was still overheating and so they got another car...........

Went to collect with bottles of water in hand and started pouring into the filler. After a short while water started pouring out from a circular hole in the engine below the inlet manifold at a great rate!

Looks to me like there is/was a small core plug there but its hard to see. Can anyone confirm/deny?

Yup, sounds like its popped a core plug.

As he says. Best get a set of core plugs and replace the lot when you get a chance.

id go with what the lads are saying, best make sure its just 1 plug its leaking from as there is 4 below the inlet manifold, and id go with what fingers says and repace them all
