Hey guys,

When I start my car I have noticed a gurgling sound, So the question is do I need to bleed my rad? I have been thinking about it as I dont dare not say the car has been flushed for years if ever.. She was neglected by the last couple of owners I think.

Thoughts?

Sam

is temp gauge on middle when car warms up and doesnt move?
if the answer to the previous question is yes i would just ignore the noise, unless you dont know when coolant was last changed, you can have iron brew inside as oldhammer says

Yeah matey when I am stationary and the car warms up the needle stays in the the middle area, I did add some coolant to the existing stuff back in the summer as it was roasting in july and I didnt want to overheat.

Tbh I dunno when It was last changed, the last service was well over 20k miles ago. I am planning on a service after christmas. I have decided I would rather get betsie up to scratch and keep her running for a few years rather then fork out on another crap car to dodge having to fix mine. I have worked out my gears so yeah.
