General gt hks blow off valve

how do i tighten up or adjust my blow off valve car has rescently been dropping revs and cutting off completely occasionally changed plugs and leads cleaned afm and icv and ckecked pipes dont want to mess up blow off valve or over do it how do they work please

BOVs can be changed by getting softer/stiffer springs.

Unless yours is an ajustable type.

I would say give it half a turn then go for a drive keep doing it till it improves.
