Ive been having a few problems with my Punto Gt...firstly,my car felt like it was holding back and hesitating and jumping like a misfire when i put my foot down and the turbo kicked in,.i put some new leads on and its solved the jumpy feeling,now the problem i got is,my car dosnet feel like its boosting with full power,it does boost and the dump valve dumps,but there feels to be a awful lot of power missing...please someone help me!

have you checked for leaks in the induction hoses?

No,havent got round to that,Ive jus got the car and dnt know nbothing about turbos,sooo...were would i start looking for splits and how do i check for them,do u actually have to inspect each pipe?

yeah pretty much,common fault on turbos but easily remided.have a look around and listen for 'roars' when you rev the engine from under the bonnet

hecked all the pipes,dosent appear to be split or leaking anywere!!so im still stuck......help!
