General Grrr some gits have ripped my wing mirror off!

I was working on the miss's 106 in a garge and I coud her some chav kid out side yelling at each other and general being unplessent. I just carred on working and ignored them. LAter I pop out in the panda and as a load scooby when past I when to lok in the wing mirror.... which was nt there! Only a limp handle.

By the time I got back home I found most of the mirror in bits on the road Im prsmeing the they must have run it to the car and mirror while beating each other up. Goits... and way any one got a like new adjusable panda mirror as the old one was like new before it ended up in lots of bits. Im hoping the door is OK. seems to be but can see properly in the dark.

I suffered a similar attack last year - fitting a replacement is pretty easy though.

I now make sure I fold the mirrors in when I park.

Can you fold panda ones in? THere seemed, well one still is, solid with a single non bendly shaft.

I hope the person the ran into it is hurting a bit now

You can fold in all mirrors attached to cars - think of the injuries they would cause to a pedestrian if they didn't!

May be my one had sized and had no play in it. The metel bar is snaped level with the metal of the door inside the plastica casing. The rest of it is in many piece as it must have been run over a few times before I noticed it wasnt there

The later door mirrors do fold back.

ISTR they are held on with 3 screw/bolts from the inside:
undo them and the outer pulls away, with some difficulty.
