i have a grande punto 1.2 dynamic
i have a full fusion system and want to install the sub,amp,crossovers,6'9s and tweeters in my punto, but want to know if i will need 2 also replace the head unit?
if so, will this effect my steering controls? as i want to be able to control everythin from my steering wheel, but still have a phat system in my boot!?

opinions are welcome guys, thanks alot
Ken :)

You dont have to change the HU there are ways around it but if you dont mind changing it then you can get adaptors that mean you can keep the stalk controlls.
Let us know which rout you want to take and then we can advise accordingly.

i have the HU from my old saxo, its a cheap Tevion unit, but i never had any problems with it and it had USB and Aux inputs so i was happy with it. I really don't mind changing the unit, but dont really know how easy this would be? i just want the most hassle free way to install my system with the best sound - which would you advise?

If you cant be bothered to do it properly i would advise that you pay your hard earnt money for somebody else to do it.
I doubt that they will do a stalk adaptor for a Tevion unit they only do them for the popular brands, Kenwood, alpine etc.
So either you need to get a HU from a more well known make or use something like this on the standard HU

But ozmosis knows a lot more about them than i do so he should be able to recommend you a decent one in your budget.

Or if you really are strapped for cash you can use a couple of these but then all of the speakers will need to be amped.
