General grande punto door catch

Hi, new to the site and in need of help.
I have a 2007 Fiat Grande Punto and the rear hatch door won't open.
Tried the fuse ok but the manual button is stuck
Does anyone know another way to open the boot door?

If all else fails you may end up taking the interior panel off to gain access to the lock mechanism.
Does it click at all if someone works the switch in the centre of the dashboard in car, can you hear it at the back, sometimes if it does a gentle bang with the flat of your hand may jar it into opening, though once you gain access I would still take the panel off a oil and check the mechanism.

Hi,
If you can reach the boot lock from inside, there's small lever to push/press on to your left on the lock. You need to slide your fingers in between tailgate & the frame to reach here. Also there's video on YouTube someone doing it.
