Yeah Alan it was a panda i couldn't remember for the hell of me what it was must have been scared by the creame fila seats!

an uno?? my first car was an uno 1.0 fire. What an incredible car!! 45bhp but soooo light. Used to drive it like a madman! Never failed me even when the water pump went while i was in the country side. I drove 20 miles with temp at red until garage and no problem!!!

i think the Fire 1.0 litre engines are well made. mine had to be!
countless times i took it to 7000 revs and it never had any problems. except for a dodgy speedo (i put a uno 70 sx dashboard in). if i treated any ford of that age like that, its engine would surely have expired.
oh, and i kept that for 4 years, and its still going strong with the new owners.
i think the Fire 1.0 litre engines are well made. mine had to be!

my dad kept that uno for 11 years!!!! it was a 89model with around 110k miles (the last 20 driven REALLY hard by me). Amazing car. I almost cried when i had to part with it, but the bravo filled the gap quite nicely!!!

Uno Mambo
My mum bought a brand new Uno Mambo (with **** awful side graphics that Fiat put on as a limited edition) 999 Fire and I was a named driver on her insurance and had not long past my test. I loved driving it! Fantastic engine and box, stuck like **** to a blanket and was fairly nippy for its power output. Infact it knocked the ******** off her last new car previous to this which was a Ford escort Bonus 1.3. The worst car she ever owned in terms of reliability and she owned a Vauxhall Viva previous to that! What does that say about Fords eh?
