just had a few things done to my car, was this a good price ?
work done :-
diagnostic to find out why my car was makeing a grinding noise (1hr labour) and check fault codes - FIXED £35
new cambelt, old cambelt tensioner Bearing had broken and my current cambelt was slack - FIXED £67.50
Interim service, oil change, anti freeze, brake check, battery check, ajust clutch, tighten handbrake - DONE £27
Total : £129.50

final price includeing VAT £272.04
is this a good price ? i think it is fairly reasnoble myself. they also advised on the following :
o/s/f + n/s/f brake pipes corroded
front brake pads getting low
battery poor condition
Excess handbrake travel - advise check ajust on rear brakes.
these recomendations arnt too bad because i knew my bettery was on it's last legs, i was planning to do the hgt/coupe rear disk conversion shortly after christmas and also get green stuff pads for the front/rear, so nothing i dident expect to tell the truth. all the above work took from 8:30am to 2:00 the following day but they would have had it back earlier but i forgot to put my alarm in valet mode
so they had problems with it
so any thoughts on the price ? good or bad ?
ps. there customer service was exceptional and they called me 3 times to give me updatres, always told me the price upfront which never changed and told me before they did any work, showed me the parts they replaced/removed so i am hoping that this is a good privce because i will use them again in future if it is.
