To everyone who has had misfiring problems with their Bravo.

Following advice from another contributor I took the simple measure of using Redex Super Concentrate Injector Cleaner and topped up the tank with super unleaded. Within 10 miles the injector warning light extinguished - and the misfiring stopped.

I got all my money back from the garage who had mis-diagnosed the fault - so I'm £275 up on the deal.

Thank you to the contributor who put the tip onto this forum.

I'll be making sure I use Redex regularly to keep those injectors in tip top condition.

And to anyone who did pay for a replacement injector - get it checked - it may not have been faulty at all!

Good News alright

That's good to hear, even better to hear that
you got your money back - very suprised as well.

I had an injector replaced, but I think it was faulty as I had tried the injector cleaner
fluid and it had no effect during the 80 mile
journey home.
Either way, it's fixed now and it was under warranty so it cost me nothing.

Have a good weekend all.

Great News!

Glad to hear atleast one of us is sorted out! Do you think this would help my problem? If so, where do I get this wonder solution from?
Might save me the best part of #200!
Any hints are welcome.

You should be able to get it from any good
motor factors, or somewhere like Halfords even.

Have you not tried to fix it, I don't think it woulf be too
good to drive it far with 1 cylinder dropping out.
