Decided to buy the reposessed one as I've spoken to the original dealer and they say they can sort the warranty out ... will cost £60 for re-processing?

Was sorely tempted by an 02 1.8 dynamic ... but the reposessed is a 53 plate and in the colour I want + it's less money!

So soon to be the owner of

1.6 Dynamic 3Dr Broom Yellow!!

Congratualtions Chopper - Have fun with it. Get some pics posted when you can...there aren't many yellow ones about, but it's one of the few cars that suit yellow.

First Stilo .... it's a bit different from the Cinqeucento S I traded in against it!!

Love the colour and agree it's one of the few cars that really suits it.... :)

wolfracepunto ... didn't buy the car from Caledonia .... got it from a reposessions place down near Middlewich and it was a lot cheaper than any deal that caledonia could offer me.... but what's the Blackpool Caledonia like for service? I think this car came from the Preston Caledonia originally so I may go there for the first service and to sort the warranty out! Need a full set of replacement manuals as well!

!!!! Can anyone tell me how to set the date and clock ... I've worked all the controls out but haven't got a clue about the buttons on the right of the dash?

Pics to follow....

It's only a basic 1.6 Dynamic .... should a 53 plate have the power outlet in the rear ... mine's got puddle lights ... not sure what other extra's it should have?
Didn't really need all the other bits + you can't be to choosy when going second hand!
But if someone can help with the date and time ... as it's annoying!

Mine came from Preston Caledonia, but I use Blackpool for warranty jobs - its nearer ;) I get very good service from them (now thats rare for Fiat!) Only problem is im not old enough for a courtesy car, but no doubt its the same everywhere. I'd recommend Blackpool :)

If you.............................

write a letter (not email) to the nice people at FIAT UK they'll send you out a manual, I wrote to them because the Service Book was missing and they posted me one out within a week!

Finally had a damn good look at the car....

Only problems I can see is that the bonnet is very slightly misaligned ... but there are no other signs that the car has had a knock ... so I'm hoping it's just an alignment problem?

Also should the stilo have a full undertray? as the center section of mine is missing?

Twincamms thanks for that, will write to Fiat for a manual! By the way how did you word the letter?

I take it that a Fiat dealer can sort these issues out?

The Bonnet

Can be adjusted my screwing up or down the two underbonnet supports at the front. Mine wasn't aligned when new, I thought I had it right, but Brickfoot kindly pointed out to me the other day its still not straight :(

The Dynamic aint so basic :D Not with the auto lights/wipers for instence. Found the understeet trays yet. the top glove box, the movable rear seats. the Power port in the boot? :)

As for the clock, its setup with the mycar menu on the right side of the dash. just use the menu and up down buttons to get to it and then set

Being a three door it won't have the auto wiper and lights, you do get nicer front seats though, and no, it ain't exactly roughing it!

The rear 60/40 seats move back and forth independently on runners, on the 5 door anyway, to allow more boot space - I can even recline the rear seats if moved forward.

Yes..........................

the sliding seats only feature on the five door London Cab People Carrier type vehicle............................along with the flight desks.......................SAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok how do I get to the my car menu???

Sussed out the trip bit ....
I've got the car running and I've tried pressing the mode button and the up and down buttons ... nothing happens ... is there something I need to do first?
