General GearStick!!!!

My car goes into the gears perfectly, but the gearstick itself wont centralise when coming out of gear

Anyone have any idea what could the problem could be

Sticking Selector cups on the gearbox?

Sticking cable?

When you come out of gear - say first does it stay to the left?
And when you come out of 5th it sticks to the right?

Yes mate thats exactly what it does

No issues finding the gears then?
Could be a snapped return spring
Or the ball joint is crudded up - and prevents return movement?
