Technical gearbox

can anyone tell me if the gearbox from a punto 55 will fit a 75
because the shaft in my box is really noisy :bang:

not sure mate thats wot the garage told me i took it to
wots happening is the car makes a noise like the realese bearing
then when you dip the clutch it goes

a release bearing is easily replaced as part of a clutch change.no need for a replacement gearbox

unless the release bearing is so bad that the clutch fork got mangled or the bush on the clutch fork is completly fooped.

to answer the original question yes it will fit however you have to replace the driveshaft diff cups (these are held in with a spilt pin so you need to hit them out and hit them back in). Alternatively you can use the punto 75 driveshafts with it (they have a larger cv spider than the 55 and 60).
