Technical Gearbox oil filling

Hello everybody is there a way to fill the gearbox with oil from above ( underbonnet - engine bay ) instead of raising the car and using a pump ?

And how to know the level of the oil as i dont know whethere i need to put some oil or no

Don't use a pump from underneath -- the only check is the filler plug (12mm allen socket on front face of box) and the car has to be level for it to work.

Generally you can get at the plug with the car flat and level.

Remove plug. Either use a squeezy bottle (you can do this from underneath of above) or from above, length of plastic tube attached to a funnel. Put in transmission oil till it just dribbles from the filler plug, replace plug.

wind out the hex plug ( like engine oil drain) that is on the front edge of gearbox,
that is the filler AND the level hole,

the level should be almost at that hole,

A syringe is the least messy way of filling with gearoil,

But, front face of gearbox, only plug there that'll take a 12mm allen key, same as sump plug, but as long as you can tell the difference between the sump and gearbox, you'll be OK!
