Technical gearbox noise

My seicento Mia 900cc has a noise in the gearbox in 1st, 2nd and 5th gears. Has anyone go an answer as to the problem?

Check the gearbox oil level ASAP. Also, check for oil leaks from the gearbox end of the halfshaft. Then get back to us.

No oil leaks on the gearbox. Car has only done 16000 miles.

gear selector? Clutch?

General wear and tear? synchro mesh?
EDIT: actually shouldn't be them with it only doing 16k

Does the noise happen under load, or not. Does it happen when the clutch is depressed in any of these gears?

still there when clutch is depresed and load makes no difference
