Hello,
Another question. I’ve recent put a 500 back together following my first resto so learning as I’m going, but before starting the car it was a runner and drive it etc so know all the core elements work.
With the car not running I can press the clutch and move through the gears. With the engine running if I try the same the gears are either not present at all or “crunching” if I try to select them. I’m assuming this is because with the engine going the cogs are moving and when I press the clutch it’s out of adjustment so isn’t pulling up enough to engage the gears. Does that sound right?
Trying the time through the logic and steps of a fix.
Thanks James
