Technical Gear knobs!!!!!!

hey right i have a 60 sx i think its 97 model and i am wondering if the gear nob actually comes off so i can put a sports one on or whether i am gonna have to hack away at it .. help please!!!

You have to hack it away mate, use a sharp stanley knife and cut from the bottom accross the top then do the same again accross the other way making a cross cut, under this is a lump of plastic moulded onto the shaft, use a strong pair of plyers and twist this off, you wont harm your gear stink so apply some pressure.

Sensible mods go far
