I bought it with no MOT 3 years ago for £995.
It went straight through its MOT with no work required (!), was rot free, but synchro had gone on 3rd and top and it has no heater.
Love the way it rides, steers and drives though (I've learnt to double de-clutch like an old time truck driver!) - and the big wide, tall body is ideal for a campervan.
Dislikes? Clutch judder on reverse, leaky headlights, brittle door mirrors with those ludicrous side repeaters just begging to be smashed and the dreadful, cracking, sagging back doors.
Need I mention the peeling paint? I think the 'hot rinse' at carwashes is the thing to avoid - the heat shock seems to break the poor bond with the primer.
