Anybody fitted gas struts to the bonnet ? If so what length did you buy please ?

Don't mean to sound flippant here but why would you want to fit gas struts to a 500 bonnet? It isn't particularly heavy, or strong enough, and you'd risk damaging it.
People out them on and remote the catch/rod that hold it open as it's a little more Fancy

Think you might need to do some measuring, often the strut faces outwards at the top, the opposite direction to the bonnet holding brace, SGS engineering can provide all the bits you'll need once you've worked it out?

Fair enough.
Have to say I’m really into any upgrades for the 500!
Don’t think I’d go for struts for the bonnet but I wish I could get the coil over struts for the tailgate!
Then you could use the ever so “useful” boot release button & the boot would open all the way! Unfortunately they ain’t available for the 500 yet

Sounds useful but I imagine not available for the cabrio boot either?
