Technical Funny Noise

I have just had my gear box sorted, and the other day whilst driving without the stereo on, I noticed a noise comming from the fron left.

Now the wierd thing is its in whatever gear your using, when you free wheel (no gas and clutch up)but if you tickle the gas pedal it goes, or if you drop the clutch it goes.

I never noticed it before.

Anyone elses 1.2 do this or is there something wrong?

mine doesn't, but then i've not had my gearbox half rebuilt.

hmmmm- Ill give it another 2 weeks then back to dealer again. Might let an independent have a butchers too (ie a mate with a garage!)

Its still doing but not getting any worse- which is strange.

I think it has something to do with the clutch rather than the box itself.

Any techs got any opinions?
