Try contacting some A/C specialized workshop if a non cleaned A/C system can cause such condensation.

But yes, if there are signs of removal of the scuttle panel, that might be the main reason.
Thanks, what would I be looking for under the scuttle? Just a blocked drain or is there more common things to look out for?
there is a funny smell when a/c first comes on. Stale kind of smell but goes away after a couple of minutes.

Have you had any rodents getting into the cab and eating food in there overnight.

Yes I would check to see if you have the same shuttle drains as the smaller cars do. Yes check scuttle for uncleared water

You should be able to find some docs on how to dismantle the A/C, vents etc here:

Most probably it's available on the internet temporarily only :(

The diagrams don't open, as they are scalable vector graphics, but apparently from what @NavNie wrote here, it can be saved as html and then opened offline with a browser. If that won't work, earlier in the same thread I've wrote my way of dealing with the problem.

That's what I'm also thinking about. There could be something that has not been reassembled properly and water gets into the A/C and ventilation system.

Is the windscreen original? There is coded production date (2 digits of the year + up to 12 dots showing month).

No signs of anything inside. Will take scuttle off tomorrow as see what’s what…

The should be a drain from the aircon evaporator that goes through the bulkhead and drains under the car from inside the engine bay. You’d need to get under the bonnet with a torch, down the back of the engine and look for a pipe that’s about 1-2 inches wide that comes out, bends down and then stops usually with a rubber “duck bill” over the end of it.

Edit: looking at how jammed the engine bay is on these it might be easier to find from the under side

Thank you. Will do that tomorrow 👍

Were you aware of the fact that the windscreen has been replaced at the moment of purchase? Was it bought from a professionnal? As you've bought the car recently, perhaps the seller should deal with it. But I don't know the UK regulations on that.

Other windows have a different manufacturer name on them….. so windscreen must have been changed!
It was bought from a Fiat main dealer but they are 200 miles away from me!
I will have a look tomorrow and if I can’t find anything I will have to let them know and see what they say.
They sold it to me with full service history then I found out when I got it that it does not and is missing the big service ( diff, transfer and gearbox oil change!)
