Does using a premium unleaded actually make that much of a difference to the running of you car than the standard unleaded? I have a 1.2 8v punto

Seriously though it depends on whose premium and whose standard we are comparing and from what forecourt and what state the car is in and how you drive.
Generally the answer is yes as in very few get worse from a premium but then again quite a lot don't notice any difference but then some people can drive for miles on a flat and not notice any difference either.
It's one of those things where what others say is less important than your own personal experience.

IMHO. Its all just a placebo effect..
I've tried different fuels in my sporting and ihavent gained anything.. if anything I've lost out

I just fuel up on sainsburys regular petrol from now on..
