General Fuel Tank

Ducato 2010 160 multijet maxi - How does one remove the circular fitting on the top of the fuel tank. I have access to it and one side is loose, thus the fitting is not sealed when tank is full. I note the circular housing which is likely the locking clip - but I cannot move it one way or the other. Help please.

This video shows a removal/refitting tool?? The sender unit appears to be a push fit into the housing?? Ignore most of the video as it is for fitting a diesel heater pick up but it does show the removal and refit.

I may have mislead as perhaps the video is not appropriate for a 2010 model which may have the locking ring type of arrangement??
