Hi all,

Fuel tank has split. With it being christmas, I'm struggling to get a new one before 4th Jan. Do any other tanks fit?

900cc spi seicento. Ordered a 2nd hand pump and tank for now which will hopefully be here asap, but just wondering if there's something bigger or more reliable for the future, as I believe these have a reputation for splitting.

My Cinq 899 tank failed at 14 years old in 2008, leaking through the seams.

If your tank is original, it is at least 20-years old.

When I got the new tank, I treated it with Waxoil Underseal, getting it well into the seams.

As for bigger, I don't think you'd fit a bigger tank in there, it is a tiny car.

A new tank is pretty cheap.
I just slapped a ecp tank on and it has done me 5 years with no problems.
