Technical FUEL RAIL PRESSURE error

I have a 04 Stilo 1.9 jtd

The engine died today and would not start again.
The recovery guy gave me these error codes

P0191 - FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR - RANGE PERFOMANCE PROBLEM
P0404 - EGR SYSTEM - RANGE PERFORMANCE PROBLEM

The car was misfueled about 6 weeks ago, and the tank was drained so i guess these error are related to that but the car has been running fine untill now.

Any ideas on what the problem could be? where would be the best place to start? should i check the injectors first?

Diesel fuel pumps operate on very fine tolerances and are lubricated by the diesel fuel itself.
Petrol in diesel acts as a solvent – it reduces lubrication and can cause damage to the pump through metal to metal contact.

Check the pump.

Normally random dieing and not starting is the crankshaft position sensor.
