True but the car can be push started without the starter motor. If you do this you need to disable the ignition circuit too. The wire from the inertia switch to the fuel pump is Black with Violet.

OP OP A arc this is where i stand Parked in the garage Joined Oct 8, 2003 Messages 19,727 Points 3,337 Location Manchester Dec 22, 2004 #4 and that one would be fine to use for the imobliser. i'd heard (not too reliably) that its a brown wire. lucky i didnt start cutting!
