Technical Fuel Problems

Has anyone got any idea what fuel cap should be fitted to a 94 Cinq 900, the one the dealer supplied (5899119) seals the tank so well I have to stop every ten minutes or so to let some air back in to the tank....... :bang: ?
Cars not that fast at the best of times without having to stop cos the fuel inj light is on....... :-(

It should be a locking one that matches the keyset. I have no idea what the part number is, but if its giving problems drill and eighth part hole through it.

Thanks, will try that as my second resort as while searching my box of spares for the old halfrauds leaky cap I found a lock set for the Fiat fuel cap which has an O ring at the bottom, will remove this O ring and fit the lock to the fiat cap, hopefully that works or its out with the cordless to do some damage.

Well tried the leaving the O ring out thing, car doesn't lose power any more but the trusty fuel inj light is still on and off every couple of miles.
Only problem is slight fuel spill on left hand corners (must be going too fast.....). It corners much better now the ARB from a Sporting is fitted.

Back to the drawing board as they say.....
