Hi, I am new so this is my first post.

I have a 2007 1.9JTD Eleganza. She has just a tad less than 70k on it and has been brilliant since I have had it (since 2008)

For awhile I have thought I have seen something blinking near the fuel gauge. Now it has become apparent that it is the fuel indicator (pump with the arrow next to it).

Now this isn't the low warning it is the white pump symbol. A quick flick through the handbook says it lights up to show what side of the car the filler is.

My question is why is it illuminating, I have never seen it come on before and it is not much use whilst driving.

skookum - welcome.......
Made me curious so without having our handbook to ....well hand - checked the online Handbook: http://www.fiat-lancia.org.rs/Manuals/other/Sedici/100009129.pdf - which is for a 2009+ model and indeed on page 84 it does reference a marker indicating which side of the car the flap actually is. TBH this would be a useful feature for me as I often forget as its the wifes car and I use several other motors. I've never see the light come on our 2006 Sedici though? Strange indeed!
