Fuel Injection Light on Cinquecento???

Hi,

Ive got a Cinquecento and what i think is the Fuel Injection light keeps coming on and then going off and im really confused as to what it actually means.

Can anyone help me?????

Hi Blondie
I can sugest you to clean all the trothle body. Ther is a litlle sensor inside. Its measuring the amount of sprayed petrol. Can be faulty but first clean up.

Where would i find the throthle body? I really dont have a clue about cars lol!!

Its on the top of the engine. There is 2 bolts holding the cover.

There is no light for the fuel injection

It might be the engine management light

Can you describe what the light looks like? Does it flash? or is it permanantly on? Does it stay on once the key is turned in the ignition or does it go out?

If it looks like a torch, it's the ECU warning light. Lots of stuff on this in the Cinq/Sei section. Cleaning the Throttle Body wouldn't be my first course of action by a long way.
