General fuel injection light comes on

hmmm, where can I plug one in on mine??? (ooh, how much don't I like newfangled electronics)

I'm with you on this.....sensors....I hate them. Always having problems on my other cars. As an example, the sensors for the self leveling lights have gone wrong three times on the Audi......two small plastic boxes at £110 each! Seat belt sensor has just gone on the BMW telling the car I have my seatbelt off when I obviously have not.

Ok car is booked for the garage next week thursday so I've gone and ordered the computer cables off the internet. Will keep you updated. Just loved it when the mechanic looked at the electronic sensors with the same blank look as me.

ok the cables arrived from ebay today however I'am sick as a dog (flu). I spent maybe 5 min's max trying it out and it seems to work great. I have 4 errors:

Throttle position sensor shorted to vbatt
Map sensor shorted to vbatt
Lambda sensor error
Battery voltage above max limit

I will try again when I feel better.

UPDATE: car fixed at a local garage . 198 euro's and it was the map sensor.
