How easy is it to change the front (N/S) wheel bearing on a 2001 Multipla 100 16V ELX (petrol)?
Looking at doing it myself, just wondering whether it's easier to put it into a garage (& can't find my extractor) are they a pig or straight forward? Ta

Looked for a thread but could not see one for front bearing (found rear) So if there is one please just paste the link, many thanks.

done one not so long ago hub needs to come off, bearing needs to be pressed out and back in again with no damage if you have abs the sensor bolt is on top of the hub be very careful with that try to push sensor from inner hub otherwise it will break as i found out, you also need a 36 mm long reach thin end socket ,that is to remove bearing nut.

can u put the new bearing in without the specialist press??? managed to do the rear trailing arm bearings without a press and was hoping u could do the same with the front wheel bearing

Search the bay for a complete hub with bearing allready in, i got my rear hub for £2 :D.
