Technical Front Indicators Not working?!? Relay?

hi there, recently fitted my cinq out with a full car alarm, when i came to fit the indicator flashing leads, both front indicators dont flash, which in turn cause the rest to flash quickly.

Is it the relay? when i indicate left or right they flash fast, and only the side and rear flash, when i press the hazard button, sounds normal but front ones still dont flash

Have checked fuse 10amp indicators and its fine.

have you checked bulbs ?

it's the bulbs mate. relay will be fine. check the bulbs and the wiring to them

The others flash fast due to an excess of current due to the fronts not working, if the relay was shot then no indicators would work as they are all connected.

As mentioned from Dave and Sie, check bulbs and wiring.

Probably something simple.

both my front indicators are dodgy connections. every so often i get "crazy-cators" and i have to pull over and give them a punch!

Although in saying that, i checked one that kept going dodgy when i was at MITCAR and the bulb was half outta the holder!

Yeah, mine seem bad if you pull the wiring at all, say if you've had the headlights out. Could be cause it was disturbed when the alarm went in.

im convinced its not the bulbs, replaced them and they still dont work.

is there a seperate relay, or wiring connector for the front indicators?

also if anybody knows where to wire them up for the alarm please help. somebody said two light blue wires but where the hell are they, have looked behind the indicator relay and the fuse and there are 4 blue wires!

i did give the front indicators a bit of a yank, but where is the wiring going for them? can see it coming back into the car but the colours are different under the dash.

It's the bulbholder end that seems to be affected, maybe the wires get pulled back too far and they lose contact with the bulb.

thanks ill have a look later, still one question outstanding, the wire colours for the indicator flashers in the car, so i can wire my two wires up from alarm to make indicators flash.

all sorted, the front wiring plugs had lost contact, i scraped them with a penknife and they started working again! rust and corrosion. slapped some vaseline in there and they both are now working

deffo wasnt the relay or the main wiring.
