Front brake conversion.

Ive searched loads of threads and see a few people have put coupe discs or adapted other parts.

Did any one actually try putting 284mm discs off a HGT/Marea 20v/130JTD on a lesser 257mm model ?

The hub is not interchangable, is this a fact ?

What if any is the problem, the disc will go on but the caliper doesnt go on the mounting ? Would a adapter plate like some made to do the coupe conversion fix this ?

Someone must have tried this.

i'd guess a spacer similiar to that used when putting the coupe brmebo's on woudl work,

but then if your goign to that much trouble you may as well wait a bit until a cheap set of coupe brakes comes up? and have brembo's rather than crappy calipers?

But I have a set of 284mm discs/calipers already, and cant really justify the price of a set of Brembos and am I right in thinking they dont fit under all 17" wheels ?
