Been looking around on ebay for (eh-hem) interesting stuff and i came accross some code that you put into your Sky digibox and you can get all the pay-per view movies and channels for nothin!

Anyone expierienced this code ?

Ive bought it (donno if it works yet though) and waiting for the email.

Was only £2

Interesting to see the outcome ;)

Although doesn't Sky do upgrades to the system ever so often that may over-ride any codes i.e. it may work for a bit of time.

£2, that's cheap.......................

My mate does this all the time, he charges £25 for a card with the code already embedded into it, you'll get about 3 months worth then they scramble the signal and you have to buy a new card/code.

Be careful, they can detect this type of fraud these days!

Re: £2, that's cheap.......................

used to work for sky...dont try these quite dodgy.

they used to be slow in getting rid of these codes, now they are very good at it..and giving you a nice friendly phone call

Re: £2, that's cheap.......................

when i got sky installed, the engineer offered an extra plug typed thing to my b/f for £25 to block the signal. it never worked!!!

Like many have said this worked well in the begining of Digi but Sky have got wise so wether it be codes or the 9v battery trick your still gona get stung for the amount sooner or later.

As for the Engineer thing, they all do that towards the young folk and make some cash as most of them won't see their customers again!

I put that code into ours (someone told me about it) just over a year ago, it was fine up until a couple of months ago when a bill for about 200 quid came through- all box office movies I had got last year

Hope they weren't dirty movies HAHAH! ;)

I'm pretty sure that, if you're phoneline's plugged in, Sky will be able to detect this pretty sharpish. If the code stops working, I wouldn't try ordering anything from Sky again as they'll more than likely catch you out.

This is why Sky subscriptions are so expensive...

Well, in my previous post I speak of the "battery trick" where if you use a smoke alarm battery (one like the one in your smoke alarm not the actual one from your smoke alarm) to imitate the voltage of the phone line the sky box believes it's plugged into the phone line.

hello mate would like to tell u that u have paid for FREE information, my dad does this and he got it out of a sky magazine (not the proper 1 but some other 1 with setup tips ect) im guess the code is the same (not telling any 1) he had it for months and never had a problem also he knew the code to put ti back to if it goes wrong so he has nothing to worry about.
