got mine yesterday, gave it a whizz, it's like a cross between my old mac 3 and a rampant rabbit.

batteries'd be a bit of a bitch, and of course the affore mentioned blade expense...
i'm amazed it doesn't rip your face to shreds...
anyway, it was no easier of closer a shave than the mac3 turbo i had. good for free though

I have been running mine for months and months on the same AAA battery it came with - hasn't run out yet.

Plus I tend to over-use my blades - and then when I put a new blade on, I cut myself to shreds
