They flew over the Lytham/Warton area yesterday

im a bit off a plane spotter

it looks like the new euro fighter, isnt there a british aerospace factory near lytham or surrouding areas, its been taken over by the yanks now, my unlce works in it and he was on the design team off the euro fighter about 10 years ago

Yeah the Red Arows/Eurofighter Typhoons. The BAe site is in Warton, my dad used to work there (now moved to another site) hes on the design team for it- but what he designs on it, I dont know!

i cant remember what my uncle was doin on it now lol, it was most probs the electronics or something, he had to sign the official secrets act though, so must off been pretty important

wow would hav love to have seen that i see the stealth fighter fly with the red arrows which was cool, but 4 euro fighters as well that must have been some sight

I didnt take the pics, my dad must have got them from the Aerospace Intranet. But they flew right over me when I was driving to Warton yesterday looked so good

So why were the Red Arrows there? They're based at Scampton in Lincoln (dont need go no airshows any more!)

i would imagine that they was showing off the eurofighters, for all the important people like tony blair and such

They were showing at southport air show, just a shame i was working

i seen the red arrows the other day in a display down at sidmouth, devon and they were fcukin ace. also got a little show every day as they've been based at exeter airport (were ive been workin 4 the past 3 months) for the past few weeks and they've been trainin/smartenin up their display routine.
