Fog lights for 1.2

Im looking for some front fog lights as above, does anybody have any that they are looking to get rid of or know where i can get some?

fog lights are from other bravo/a but if you dont have the front bumper with standard fit fogs youll have to cut them in, also if you dont have the interia pannel to fit the fog switch you will have to set them up on a seperate relay to a switch.

I can fit them into the bumper ok its just finsing some that i need lol. Also ive got the spare switches on the dash for them so i can wire them in there.

Oz, did that include the holders too, or was that just the light unit itself?

Light unit only iirc. The holders tend to be buggered anyway coz the screws rust up and you have to drill them out (at least I did).
I've got a set with holders but as they are only £20 each on shop4parts I can't be arsed to sell them. I've seen how easily they get broken so just keep them for spares. Made paying Wimmy £40 for his bumper a bargain!!

lol, i found getting the holders out the hgt bumper i had a doddle, although i havent had a nose at the marea yet...

you won't need to do any wiring if you get a switch panel that has the foglight switch on it. it's just 'plug in and play'.

however mk1 models have a different connector on the switch panel so you can't use them. i was unable to find a secondhand switch so i had to buy it from Fiat.

When ivve fitted the fog lights could i join the wires onto the headlight wires either side so that they come on when the headlights are switched on or not?

it is possible, but that is illigal as far as i know, u can get pulled for that

you can only ever have fog lights on when it is foggy. otherwise you will get pulled, and it draws attension to you as it is a boy racer thing to do. lol
i have been pulled once for forgettin to turn them off after bein in fog, and they cops said they will keep it on file and if they catch me again they will give me a fine.
so betta to do it on a switch.
even if it is a air craft style switch on the console.

Anyway i agree I dont want to give a boy racer approach/look.

lol i got flagged down in black pool and they wouldnt let me drive on if i didnt turn them off, pretty stupid really as there was a fight about to happen just over the road but they was more concerend for my fogs.

I drive with my angel eye fogs on, technically the fogs are lit up with LEDs and not a halogen. Making it legal.

First of all you get stopped by Police because foglights dazzle oncoming traffic if used in no fog conditions.

This is my car without the fogs switched on but with angeleyes on in my foglights.

Its 100% legal.

It doesn't add any more light to the road hence why i've got HIDs, its just for looks and i have a ring of light in my foglights which makes them look as if they are on (but not brightly) from a distance, or angel eyes up close.

Yeah. My angel eyes come on with the sidelights. Foglights work from the standard switch in my car.
