General focus 1.6 tdci zetec to GP 1.4 16V eleganza?

According the the Parkers price guide the Eleganza should be at least £1k cheaper than a Titanium Fiesta, but due to rarety of the former in reality it looks like I can get a fiesta for about the same price. I keep going round in circles!
