I need a flywheel for my 2011 Panda (169/mk3) got one off ebay matched part number - 464703731 - the garage fitted it but then was unable to fit clutch as the one I purchased has dowels - could they be taken out and bolts used to locate the clutch - I hope this makes sense any ideas anyone ??

Thanks for checking and response @koalar. I looked at that one too, exactly the same... have had to go down the order route... had a recon box put in a few years ago.. maybe this is the probs.. sorry not mentioned this at the start.. thanks again for looking.

Typo ?

Somethings does not sound right. The 2011 1.2 flywheel had dowels when I changed the clutch in my car?
Pics of the flywheel I bought with dowels the holes on the clutch don't match and took the number to be a 6 not a 5 .. so 5 it is

Sorry It’s hard for me to search for a part numbers as my computer has died.

Anyhow the 69hp uses the large diameter clutch plate of the two different sizes that are fitted to the panda 1.2

I went for the cheapest 3 part kit at just over £40 Transmech bought online. Probably euro car parts with discount code. Turned out to be a rebadged blueprint. It doesn’t feel as nice to drive with as a AP clutch but has stood up to some abuse over the last couple of years.

Talk to Shop 4 Parts. They say on their website to call them when ordering a clutch. I guess this is the reason. They know what they are talking about and prices are usually very good.

Thank you DaveMcT interestingly the pics of the flywheel sent by koalar also with a 11 plate Panda matches my (Sky Blue) Panda old flywheel.

I needed new front shocks and was really not up for paying Shop 4 Parts prices so I went on eBay, but after all the ***ing about I saved about £10 and probably got inferior products into the bargain. My clutch came from S4P, cam belt, brakes even wheel bearings. They take some beating.

However, they are not perfect. I baulked at £175 for a clutch master cylinder plus £100 for a slave. It does pay to shop around.
Italian made LPR master cylinder
LuK slave cylinder (OEM supplier)
