Flashing unit

Hi there, recently the indicators on my P reg Brava have stopped flashing. I'm told the flashing unit is responsible. Anyone know where I can obtain one of these from. Halfords don't do them. Also could anyone tell me where the unit is on the car as the manual that came with the vechicle has no reference to it.
